As an Architectural Designer, Michael brings to our team a passion for developing conscious design that is engaging and impactful. A listener by nature, he seeks to understand, reflect, and design for the best of a person, organization, or community. These ideals allow him to envision solutions that are responsive in a sensitive and responsible manner
Michael was drawn to Svigals because of its reputation and because “there was always something different about this company.” Svigals was fortunate enough to have Michael as an intern for a couple of summers and during various school breaks prior to his graduation. Observing his commitment, enthusiasm, and natural-born talent, Svigals jumped at the chance to bring him on board full-time when the opportunity arose.
In his time at Svigals + Partners, Michael has accrued a portfolio covering a variety of sectors, from higher education to the workplace. He was a contributor to the design of Southern Connecticut State University’s Health and Human Services building and has worked on numerous other projects such as Biohaven Pharmaceuticals and the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center of West Haven.

In his free time — Mike likes to watch New York sports teams (Yankees, Giants, Rangers, Knicks), spend time outdoors, play video games, snowboard, play guitar, and think about more architecture.
